The form on the platinumwebstudio.com contact page asks for five things, your full name, email, a 10-digit phone number, a project type, and a message, plus an SMS consent checkbox that starts unchecked and is not required to send it; this privacy policy explains what happens to those details. The audit form on our trade and city pages asks for your name, phone, email, trade, and city. Every form that asks for a phone number, including the live chat on the home page, has the same SMS consent checkbox, unchecked by default and not required.
When you send either form, the details are emailed to our team's inbox and posted as a notification in our team's Telegram chat, together with the page you sent it from. For analytics the site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads tags under Google Consent Mode, with analytics and advertising storage set to denied by default; Google Tag Manager is loaded only after you choose to allow it, and a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser keeps those settings denied. The sections below also cover how Pinterest API data is deleted when you disconnect and the privacy rights of California residents.

Pinterest API Data
This application uses the Pinterest API. This application is not endorsed by or connected with Pinterest. When users connect their Pinterest account through our platform, we access Pinterest data solely to manage and schedule content on their behalf. If a user disconnects their Pinterest account, all Pinterest-derived data is deleted from our systems. We do not resell or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties. TikTok Data
Platinum Web Studio runs PWS Publisher for TikTok, a public publishing tool (currently in Beta) at platinumwebstudio.com/connect/tiktok. Anyone can sign in with their own TikTok account; with an active plan they upload their own videos, review them, and post them to their TikTok, schedule them, or send them to their TikTok drafts. Platinum Web Studio clients also see the videos our team made for them there. This application is not endorsed by or connected with TikTok. We use TikTok Login Kit and the Content Posting API with these permissions: user.info.basic (your TikTok display name and profile photo, shown on the page so you can see which account is signed in), video.upload (placing a video into your TikTok drafts when you press "Send to my TikTok drafts"; you post it yourself in the TikTok app) and video.publish (posting a video to your TikTok when you press "Post" or "Schedule post" on the page). Each time you open a video to post it, we read your current posting settings from TikTok (nickname, profile photo, the privacy options you can use, whether comments, Duet and Stitch are allowed, and the maximum video length) and use them only to show that form.
For every post you choose the caption, who can view it, whether others may comment, Duet or Stitch, and whether the video promotes your own brand or a third party. Nothing is preselected and nothing is posted until you press the button. If you pick a time instead of posting now, we save those choices and the time you agreed, and post the video at that time exactly as you set it; before posting we check your TikTok settings again, and if one of your choices is no longer allowed, nothing is posted and you are asked to review it. You can cancel a scheduled post on the page until it is posted. We do not add watermarks, logos or text to your video or caption.
We store your TikTok open ID and the access and refresh tokens, encrypted on our server; your TikTok display name and username, so we can find your account when you contact us about your plan; your plan (which plan, since when, and how you got it) and when you asked for it; the choices you made for each post, when you agreed, and the post's status from TikTok, which we also use to count your posts toward the plan limits; and, for Platinum Web Studio clients, the videos our team prepared for them until they are removed. When you upload a video, we store that file on our server only so you can review and post it; only you can see it, and we delete it when you press "Delete", when you disconnect, or automatically 30 days after upload (unless a post of it is still scheduled, in which case it is deleted 30 days after upload once that post is done or cancelled). We do not read your other videos, messages, followers or analytics, and we do not sell or share TikTok data. You can press "Disconnect TikTok and delete my data" on the page at any time: the tokens are revoked at TikTok, your connection and your uploads are deleted from our systems immediately, and any scheduled posts are cancelled. If you request the Beta plan, the name, email, TikTok handle and description of what you post that you enter in the form are sent to us as a message and kept with our other customer emails, only to set up your plan and bill you. Plan and payment records are kept only as long as needed for the plan and for accounting. You can also remove our access in TikTok under Settings, Security and permissions, and email info@platinumwebstudio.com to have anything else deleted.
What information do we collect?
We collect personal data that you provide to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and other contact information, when you contact us through our website, submit a request, or communicate with us by email.
We also automatically collect certain information about your visit to our website, including your IP address, the date and time of your visit, the pages you visit, and the website you visited before our website. We may also collect device, browser, approximate location, referral, and interaction information through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies.
How do we use your information?
We use your personal data to respond to your inquiries, provide you with information about our services, and improve our website and customer experience.
We also use the information we automatically collect about your visit to our website to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movements, and gather demographic information. If advertising tags are enabled, we may use this information to measure campaigns, attribute conversions, and improve advertising relevance.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising tools
We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags. We may use Google Analytics and Google advertising services to understand how visitors use our website, measure campaign performance, and improve our services. These tools may collect identifiers, device information, browser information, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, referral source, and interactions with our website.
Some analytics or advertising disclosures may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under California privacy law when they are used for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can choose "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" from the website footer or privacy banner to limit these uses.
How do we share your information?
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties for money. We may share personal data with service providers who help us operate our website, respond to inquiries, deliver our services, host and secure our systems, analyze site performance, and measure advertising. None of this sharing includes your mobile phone number or your SMS consent: those are never shared for advertising measurement, marketing, or promotional purposes.
We may also disclose your personal data if we are required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to a legal claim, protect our rights or property, or protect the safety of others.
Text messaging (SMS)
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
If you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, text our business number, or ask us during a call to text you, Platinum Web Studio may send you text messages about your request, scheduled calls, your project and your invoices. We do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out; you will receive one confirmation and no further texts. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (818) 443-6148 or info@platinumwebstudio.com. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
When you check the box, we record the date and time, the IP address, the page you were on, and the version of the consent wording, so we can show when and how you agreed. We keep that record, and a record of any opt-out, for as long as we may text you and as required by law. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our SMS Terms.
Social media publishing
Platinum Web Studio publishes its own marketing content (videos, images and text) to its own official social media accounts, including TikTok (@platinumwebstudio), using an internal scheduling tool. When our team connects a TikTok account, we use TikTok's official authorization, and we only receive the access needed to publish content to that account. We do not collect, store or sell personal data of other TikTok users through this tool. Access can be revoked at any time in the TikTok account's security settings. TikTok's own privacy policy governs data handled by TikTok.
AI assistant
When the AI assistant (“Ava”) is switched on, the website shows a chat window. Ava is an AI assistant, not a person, and says so. Before the chat starts you are asked to agree, and the camera is never turned on.
The text you type, and the page you are on, are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them to write the answer. We do not use the chat to advertise to you. The conversation is kept in your own browser tab while it is open and is not stored on our servers. If you choose “Talk to a human” or leave your details, the name, phone number and the messages you wrote are sent to our team through the same contact form as any other request, and are handled as described above. Please do not type card numbers, passwords or other sensitive information into the chat.
If you use the microphone button, your browser converts your speech to text. Depending on the browser (for example Chrome or Safari), the audio may be sent to that browser's own speech service to do so; this is governed by the browser maker's terms, not by us. The microphone only starts after you press the button and your browser asks for permission. We do not record or store audio, and we receive only the text.
Notice at collection for California residents
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect identifiers, customer records information, internet or other electronic network activity, approximate geolocation derived from IP address, and inferences related to website activity. We collect this information from you, your browser or device, service providers, analytics providers, and advertising partners.
We use these categories for the business and commercial purposes described in this policy, including responding to requests, providing services, security, debugging, analytics, marketing measurement, advertising, and legal compliance. We retain personal data for as long as needed for these purposes, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
